WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The Ritz-Carlton will kick off its second year of Cupcakes that Care, a program that donates money raised from cupcake sales to local non-profits, by offering autumn apple spice cupcakes.
The autumn apple spice recipe features an apple cake topped with maple cream cheese frosting. Jeff Dziak, the Ritz-Carlton's interim general manager, announced proceeds from apple autumn spice cupcake sales would benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation .
" Our C upcakes that Care are another piece of our continued commitment to the community and its well-being, and with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month we hope that the funds raised will contribute to research that will eradicate the disease," Dziak said in a press release.
For every $3.50 cupcake purchased, the Ritz-Carlton will donate $0.50 to the fund. Or for every $42 dozen cupcakes ordered, the hotel will donate $6. For more information or to place a cupcake order, call (914) 946-5500.
