Lucille Carrea, 95, White Plains Bridal Shop Owner

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Lucille J. Carrea of White Plains died May 6. She was 95.

For more than 50 years, Carrea and her husband, Roger, owned and operated Lucille’s Bridal Shop in White Plains.

She was born in White Plains on Feb. 22, 1917, to Frank and Margaret Ferraro Paldino. Carrea graduated from Pratt University in 1937 and taught dress design for many years.

Carrea is survived by a daughter, Caress (Kenneth Corsell) Kennedy. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger, on Jan. 2, 2005.

Callings hours are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
