Luanne Hilleman, 71, of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Luanne Elizabeth Hilleman, a White Plains resident, died June 4. She was 71. 

Hilleman was born Feb. 25, 1941, in Chicago to Edward and Genevieve Cleary Fenelon.

She married Dwight Hilleman in Chicago on Aug. 22, 1964. Hilleman worked as a homemaker and as a tour guide at Lyndhurst Mansion. 

A longtime White Plains resident, she was a 34-year member of the Lakenridge Swim Club. She enjoyed home furnishing arts and crafts, including furniture upholstering, quilting, tailoring and stained glass design. 

Hilleman is survived by her husband, Dwight, of White Plains; two children, Chris Hilleman, of Darien, Conn., and Bob Hilleman, of Stamford, Conn.; a brother, Ed Fenelon of Illinois; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Bob Fenelon. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Robert Everett will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rosewood Mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
