White Plains Real Estate Agent Hopes To Broker Deal For Reality TV Show

HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison’s Tony Mazzulli has bounced back and forth between the worlds of commercial real estate and television for several years, and now hopes to bring them together to produce a reality series based on his life, starting with a pilot.

While the idea is akin to "Million Dollar Listing" on Bravo, Mazzulli, 32, says no show has touched on the commercial real estate market, where he is handling big properties – one is a 132-unit building and negotiations with “big time guys” in Manhattan has it selling for $30 million to $33 million.

“We’re going to show negotiations when we’re brokering a deal… and show the craziness that goes on in a deal,” he said.

Mazzulli is the director of Keller Williams’ commercial division and works out of White Plains. He left the real estate business after the 2008 crash and decided to follow his dream of acting. He began with classes in Manhattan and within a year had a role on “Blue Bloods.” After connecting with some independent filmmakers, he landed several roles, including the lead role as a tormented vigilante in “Who I Am,” which he said didn’t go anywhere.

Eventually Mazzulli returned to real estate when money ran low. But, he said, the itch never went away. He said that is because of the ability of television and film to reach, and maybe even help its viewers.

“I want to put shows out there where people say, ‘there’s my role model,’” he said.

Faith plays a big role in Mazzulli’s life, as well as the pilot, which he and his independent filmmaking friends have been shooting for the last two months.

“I want to show that God is cool again,” he said. “I’m partying. I’m dating different girls. But, I have that core base that keeps my faith strong.”

Filming will continue Aug. 7 at the long-closed sports store on Halstead Avenue, whose owner is one of Mazzulli’s clients. Mazzulli has planned a party at the store that day to promote both the prospective television pilot and the development of the 4,000-square-foot property into 47 residential units.

"I definitely see it going to a network. That will be a launch pad to all the different projects that I want to be doing," he said of the pilot.

Mazzulli said he plans to keep his foot in real estate with the hope that he can make it self-sustaining while he pursues television and film.
