Greenburgh Nature Center Displays Abstract Expressions

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Nature Center is hosting a free art exhibit, "Abstract Expressions in Nature" by Joan Strier until Dec. 1.

Strier's abstract work is inspired from nature and comes in various mediums, including acrylic, ink, encaustic (wax), pastel and sewn and painted rice paper.

The Greenburgh Nature Center grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. Indoor exhibits are open daily except Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends. 

The center is at 99 Dromore Road in Scarsdale.
