GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Housing Authority is seeking donations of toys for children in need in the community this holiday season.
For many years it has brought joy to more than 80 kids in state and federal low-income housing, normally with help from the Fire Department.
This year however, due to budget cuts and lack of donations, the department cannot help. Thus the Housing Authority is asking the community to help with toy donations so the children will have something for Christmas.
You can drop off your items during business hours at the housing office, at 9 Maple St in White Plains.
Contact Charrise Simmons at 914-602-7058 for after-hours drop off.
