WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Frank J. Ferris Jr. of White Plains died Tuesday, May 8. He was 57.
Ferris was born Oct. 9, 1954, in White Plains to Frank J. Ferris Sr. and Patricia A. Moy Ferris. A roofing contractor for most of his life, Frank Ferris Jr. worked as a porter for Tara Close in Mount Kisco for the last three years.
He was an avid golfer and a New York Giants fan. He enjoyed wine and barbecues.
Ferris is survived by a brother, Robert (Evelyn) Ferris, and two nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
