WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Rose Biscardi, of White Plains, died March 26 at the age of 90.
Biscardi was born Nov. 8, 1921 in Aiello, Calabria, Italy to the late Geniale and Giuseppina Coglietta. In 1941, she married the late Frank Biscardi at St. Patricks Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, N.Y. Biscardi moved to White Plains as a new bride. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1991. Shortly thereafter, Frank died. Rose remained in her White Plains home until 2007 when she moved into an assisted living facility.
She is survived by her son Michael (Dawn) Biscardi, her daughter Mary Ann Crouse (Jerry Schwartz). Also surviving are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Chapel of the Divine Compassion at Good Counsel Academy in White Plains. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
