Westchester Chordsmen Chorus is offering free singing lessons to local men every Monday evening through Feb. 27.
The program coaches and instructs newcomers on how to sing and help experienced vocalists improve.
The 90-minute program is free and begins at 6:45 p.m. and continues at Kol Ami Synagogue.
To register, visit chordsmen.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Kol Ami Synagogue is at 252 Soundview Rd. in White Plains.
The simple curriculum will take you from basic fundamentals to advanced concepts, regardless of your current singing ability. Two series last year (January and June) were attended by more than 30 men.
Can’t read music? No problem, no prior musical experience is needed. The program is free, a community service program from the Westchester Chordsmen Chorus. Materials will be provided.
Keith Harris, with more than 20 years of vocal teaching experience, leads the talented and equally-experienced music team who will inspire you with great energy and humor.
Prospective singers also can call 914-298-SING [298-7464] and leave a message.
