WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Edward A. Connors of White Plains died Dec. 5 at the age of 71.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Dr. Donald F. and Helen Connors, he was a graduate of Stepinac High School. Formerly of Scarsdale, Connors worked as an entrepreneur, operating small businesses.
He owned and operated Shangra La Manufacturing, an artificial flower business, as well as Econ Painting and Decorating Company. Connors was the past president of the Greenburgh Exchange Club and sports, camping and travel were among his favorite interests.
Connors is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hannah, his daughter Kimberly, his sisters Harriette and Helen, his brothers Michael and Christopher and a grandson. He was predeceased by his brothers Donald and Thomas.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
