WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Catherine Di Pilato, formerly of White Plains, died May 11. She was 86.
She was born Feb. 5, 1926 in Herkimer, N.Y., to Nicola and Frances Costanzo Perruccio. In 1947, she married Angelo Di Pilato and they lived in White Plains. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. In 2000, they moved to Boynton Beach, Fla.
Di Pilato is survived by a daughter, JoAnn, and her husband, Richard Nardi; a son, John Di Pilato; a sister, Concetta Bevilacqua; two brothers, Joseph and Angelo, of Boynton Beach; five grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband Angelo; two sisters, Rita Yusi and Rose Marie Cyran; and a brother, Anthony.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Palm Beach County in Florida.
