The proceeds go to support the programs and services of Abbott House, the 52-year-old community-based human services agency serving upwards of 7,000 individuals and families annually throughout the region.

During the dinner portion of the event, tribute was paid to the memory of longtime Golf Committee Member David Wade, who died nine days before the event.

The evening was capped-off by an inspirational testimonial by a former foster-care youth.

Now 30 years old, Devon Chisholm, a SUNY Buffalo graduate and Scarsdale resident spoke of his journey from childhood neglect and abuse, to his present status as a full-time Yonkers firefighter, EMT, hazmat technician, and Federal Emergency Management Agency certified disaster specialist. Chisholm credits the programs and services of Abbott House for helping him realize this success.
