White Plains mom of three Karen Hamlin may have your answer.

The music teacher recently launched Sounds Good Westchester featuring Music Together music and movement classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers.

Classes begin the week of Sept. 28, but registration is open now with complimentary classes being offered through Sept. 25.

Originally offered to the public in 1987, Music Together pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

Hamlin discovered the program 14 years ago and loved it so much she became a registered Music Together teacher.

What makes her classes different from others is that Hamlin offers them in a wide variety of locations, including assisted living locations where senior residents can participate in the mixed-age classes, giving them a family feel.

Along with intergenerational options, there are also mixed-age classes (children 0-5 years) and a babies option (0-8 months).

Classes are being offered in 10 locations including Harrison, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Rye, and Rye Brook.
