WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – New York Times restaurant reviewer Emily DeNitto recently visited Mokomiya, which opened in May.
DeNitto praised the restaurant’s fidelity to Japanese-style cooking. The owner, Eiji Morita, opened Mokomiya because he missed the ramen shops of Japan and Manhattan, according to the New York Times.
