White Plains Performing Arts Center Sets Cast For 'The 39 Steps'

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The White Plains Performing Arts Center recently released the cast list for its latest production "The 39 Steps."

The show combines "a spy thriller with farcical comedy and ingenious theatrical invention" and is set for several performances in White Plains in October, according to a press release from the White Plains Performing Arts Center. The play features more than 150 characters but only five actors, according to the release. The five that are set to bring the characters to life are David Gautschy, Natasha Nightingale, DJ Petrosino, Ari Lew and Kate Dickinson.

"The 39 Steps" is adapted by Patrick Barlow and based on the novel of the same name and movie from Alfred Hitchock. The White Plains production is directed by David Murray Jaffe. 

Performances are set for Oct. 11-13, 17-20 and 24-27. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m. with the Sunday shows beginning at 2 p.m. Tickets are $37.50 for adults and $25 for high school students and younger. All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.
