WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- "Avenue Q: School Edition" is coming to the White Plains Performing Arts Center starting Friday, Nov. 15.
Conservatory Theatre students are bringing "this side-splitting, slightly-more-appropriate version of the hit musical comedy" to the White Plains Performing Arts Center for shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to a press release.
"With its signature puppetry, rude humor and brilliant music, Avenue Q: School Edition is sure to be fun that (most of) the family can enjoy," representatives said in the press release. "Although 'Avenue Q: School Edition' has been cleaned up from the original, the show still contains content that may not be suitable for children of all ages."
The show is directed by Ariana Moses (WPPAC’s Education Coordinator) with musical direction from Eric Thomas Johnson and Associate Director/Choreography James Oblak, according to the release. The cast includes Kelly Ainsworth, Alex Arlotta, Katherine Chavez-Ortiz, Talia Cifali, Mary DelVecchio, Joe Doino, Jenna Goldberg, Megan Harnaga, David Littlefield, Evan Macedo, Casey O’Donnell, Gabrielle Paige, Gianna Ray, Max Temkin and Becca Zdanoff, according to the release.
The performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the White Plains theatre on Mamaroneck Avenue. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for high school and younger. For tickets, residents are asked to call the box office at 914-328-1600 or go online at the White Plains Performing Arts Center's website .
