Through this program, disabled patrons may call the library to have books, audiobooks or compact discs delivered to their home. This service is a joint project with the Friends of the Library group. A volunteer from the Friends of the Library delivers items that have been selected by a librarian.

The homebound services librarian works closely with each patron to identify favorite authors, genres or formats, choosing from the library’s large selection of both regular and large-print books, paperbacks, audiobooks and compact discs. Typically, 10 items are delivered to the homebound patron about every six weeks. Contact the Homebound Services librarian at 914-422-1485 if you would like to join this program or have any questions about this service.
