WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-- The City of White Plains and the White Plains Cares Coalition will celebrate the first annual "Wellness Week with a series of health-inspired events from Sept. 15-23.
Wellness Week will kick off with interactive dance and fitness demonstrations, information tables from area wellness providers, music and entertainment for all ages on Court Street between Martine Avenue and Main Street.
Other events highlighting the week will be the Sept. 21 Spiritual Wellness Day, which will include an interfaith forum at 10:30 a.m. at the White Plains Public Library.
Social Wellness Day Sept. 23 will celebrate family with a free dinner and movie event at the White Plains City Center from 6--9 p.m. for 300 people. Dinner is by reservation only. Additional information will be provided at the kickoff event Sunday.
