WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – There’s no snow on the ground, and it may not feel like Christmas yet, but an annual holiday tradition has arrived in White Plains.
Santa’s Mailbox is now in place on the front steps of City Hall, 255 Main St.
Children may drop their letters to St. Nick there any time from now until Friday, Dec. 18.
Little elves should remember to put their return addresses on the envelopes so Santa can send them a personalized reply.City Hall officials said they were honored that Santa “has once again chosen White Plains for this very important purpose (we think it’s because we’ve been especially good this year).”
