White Plains Residents Enjoy The Dog Days Of Winter

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The hot (or cold, depending on the day) destination for doggies and their owners in New Rochelle seems to be the dog park Paws Place at Ward Acres.

During a visit last week, there were lots of dogs playing and catching up with each other, while their owners did the same.

"It's a very special place," said Alan Guber of New Rochelle, who was at the park with his dog, Callie. "It has a fenced in area and an open park with trails. It's one of the most scenic and wonderful places - one of the nice things about New Rochelle."
