Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day and on National Joe Day, we're all just a regular joe.
Sunday, March 27 is National Joe Day, although it's not designated by Congress as an official holiday, according to the National Day Calendar.
It's a holiday whose origin is murky but the message is one of fun. People celebrate by calling themselves Joe or Jo for the day or having a cup of Joe with people named Joe.
