Trends come and go, and so, to stay in style, Neiman Marcus hosted a "Spice Up Your Spring" event the last week of winter featuring Bedford resident Stacy Geisinger of StacyKnows, a lifestyle blogazine, along with Style Experts Lisa Ballou and Susan Goodman, and other area panelists.
The consensus for what's on point for spring 2015:
The New Bohemian: Jet set meets gypsy in Boho blouses and tunics, distressed denim, embroidery and maxi dresses.
Fringe: Swings from bags, jackets, skirts and more.
Spice Market Colors: Say hello to paprika, cayenne, saffron, and sage.
Summer Suede: Expect lightweight luxe for accessories and apparel.
Flat Sandals: These are not only comfortable, but offer the highest form of flattery.
Long, Layered Necklaces: Forget what your mother told you: You now have permission to mix metals and stones.
The Bucket Bag: This pulls everything together -- plus gives you room to hold all your stuff.
White on White: From bright to sandy beige, the white family is the perfect color for spring. For white jeans, pair extra skinny paired with a classic sneaker. And if it hasn’t warmed up enough yet for you, try a chunky sweater instead.
Mix, Don't Match: Print, pattern and texture play well together.
Sleeveless Jackets: These are the last word in layering.
Coming Up Roses: This flowery scent is on everyone's mind and after the winter we've had, is a welcome fragrance.
