WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The time has come to celebrate your love for all things beer -- whether you're a casual beer drinker or a lager connoisseur -- as the first Friday of August celebrates International Beer Day.
As plenty of bars, restaurants and pubs participate in the day, part of the beer-day tradition is to keep on giving the gift of beer. Whether it's buying your friends their favorite drinks or trying something new, International Beer Day is the time to celebrate with a freshly brewed beverage.
According to Wikipedia, International Beer Day is intended to celebrate three points: spending time with friends and enjoying beer; uniting all nations together under the banner of beer; and celebrate the individuals who serve and brew the beverage.
