At least it was for County Executive Rob Astorino who met with Film Director and Producer Ed Bianchi on the set of “The Get Down,” a Netflix series being filmed on the streets of downtown White Plains this week.
The series is being produced with the assistance of Westchester County Tourism & Film.
Some lucky residents saw filming taking place on Quarrapos Street.
The series, set in 1970s New York City, is a musical drama by Baz Luhrman about the start of hip hop music. It is expected to air on Netflix in 2016.
