“We are grateful for the tremendous support of Leiberts Royal Green Appliance Center and IntoxiKate,” said Naomi Giges-Downey, vice president of fund development at the Food Bank for Westchester. “While Thanksgiving is considered a joyous time, the holiday season can be tough for our 200,000 hungry neighbors in Westchester. We’re thrilled to take part in this final chef series of the season and appreciate the generous donations.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Bank.
"Give Thanks" is from 6-9 p.m. and features locally sourced and seasonally driven dishes created by Chef Leslie Lampert of Love Hospitality Group. Items on the Thanksgiving-themed menu include harvest celebration soup shots, turkey sausage stuffing and sautéed wild mushrooms paired with wine from Vino 100 and cooking demonstrations on Viking Appliances' new Tuscany line.
Schlientz will host the event and simulcast a special broadcast of Fork This with IntoxiKate on 1490 WGCH Radio.
Attendees will have the chance to win gift cards, dinner for four at Empire City Casino's track side restaurant and a new grill from Viking through raffles and a silent auction.
