WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Dorry's Diner in White Plains served as a setting for the pilot episode of NBC's remake of the series "Ironside" during filming Thursday.
Film crews, producers, extras and onlookers crowded the sidewalk on Mamaroneck Avenue as shooting took place inside Dorry's.
The original "Ironside" was a drama starring Raymond Burr in the 1960s and 1970s. Thursday's shooting was for the first episode of the remake, which NBC will decide in May whether to air as a series.
The new version stars Blair Underwood with executive producers Teri Weinberg, John Davis, John Fox and Ron White with Peter Horton as a director.
