WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Go to any of 50 events at 21 Westchester museums, film centers, concert venues and historic sites for free Sunday as part of ArtsWestchester’s 11th annual Free Arts Day. The first Free Arts Day was held in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks as a way to bring the community together. “One mission for Free Arts Day is to make the arts of all kinds accessible to Westchester residents and tourists, regardless of their location or financial circumstances,” said Janet Langsam, CEO of ArtsWestchester. “With the abundance and variety of participating organizations — dance companies, theaters, galleries and music halls — there is something for everyone.” There also will be a raffle for one iPad. To enter, fill out the survey form at each Free Arts Day event you attend. The more events you attend, the greater your chances of winning become. A complete list of Free Arts Day offerings is available online.
