Chinese Students Begin Their American Journeys In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Chinese college students began their 90-day business and management cultural American immersion program at Berkeley College in White Plains on July 23.

The program includes special classes in English Business Communications, tours of American historical and cultural sites, and visits to several business and government institutions in White Plains.

 In his remarks to the students White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach explained city government and the distinguished role of White Plains in American and New York State history. He also invited the guests to the city’s free evening concert and car show, which they attended.
