WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Business Council of Westchester will offer trips to India, Portugal and Ireland in 2015.
“We’ve put together a top-notch program that the most discerning travelers would appreciate,” said Marsha Gordon, president and chief executive officer of The Business Council. “We’re working with well-established international tour companies that have had tremendous success – across the country and internationally – and we’re excited to offer this travel program to the people of Westchester.
“Traveling with peers provides great opportunities to build personal and business relationships. Very often, travel introduces people to new cultures and provides us with a global awareness, which is great for personal and professional growth.” Trips to India will run from March 19-29, 2015. This 10 day tour features Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Guests will explore the Amber Fort at Jaipur, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and experience Delhi’s architecture and history. Tours to Portugal will take place from May 15-24, 2015. Visitors will travel to ancient castles, Roman ruins, and through villages with groves of lemon and almond trees. Highlights include Cascais, Lisbon and Jeronimo's Monastery as well as two winery tours and five UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Ireland tours will run from Nov. 3-12, 2015. Visitors will travel to Dublin, Waterford and Killarney while learning about Irish history and culture.
The Business Council is partnering with Collette Travel and Indus Travel. All of the arrangements are being handled by Caprice Travel Agency, a Business Council member based in Yonkers.
All inclusive prices start at $3,000 for 10 days.
