What Makes It Sporty: TVs and sports memorabilia line the halls and walls. The pub is owned by Bob Hyland, a 1963 Archbishop Stepinac High School graduate who played 11 seasons for four pro football teams, including the Giants, and concluding with the Patriots in 1977.

"We have a pretty knowledgeable sports crowd,'' Hyland said. He also mentioned the pub's famous spicy peanut wings.

Number of TVs: 48

Extra Innings: Most sports games are offered on Dish and CableVision channels.
