WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Theodore D. Young Community Center will host a youth acting and theater workshop throughout the summer.
The Theodore Young Community Center is at 32 Manhattan Ave.
Youth Acting & Theater Workshop will focus on rehearsal and performance of a short play under the direction Paul Kwame Johnson, professional actor/director and founder of Youth Theatre Interactions.
The program requires commitment and regular attendance. Sample a free teen acting class on Friday, June 6, at 6:45 p.m.
The registration schedule and types of classes are below.
Elementary Acting: Ages 8-11, Wednesdays, 6:45-8 p.m., from Wednesdays June 11, to Wednesday, July 30.
Teen Acting: Ages 12-18, Fridays, 6:45-8 p.m., from Friday, June 13, to Friday, Aug. 1.
There is a $40 fee for residents and a $60 fee for non-residents.
