WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital will host a panel discussion on May 30 featuring medical experts from the hospital, as part of its sixth-annual Wellness Through Prevention Month.
Women will hear experts discuss sleep medicine, foot care, stress management, heart health and nutrition. The discussion will be held at Bloomingdale’s. The $25 entrance fee is redeemable in the form of a gift card that can be used for purchases at the beauty bar that evening. Light refreshments and cocktails will be served. To register, call Bloomingdale’s at (914) 684-2857. White Plains Hospital also hosted Brake for Breakfast, an early morning event where women drove up to the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center on Longview Avenue and within a couple of minutes, received a free breakfast, cancer prevention materials and an opportunity to speak with a breast cancer specialist about prevention and early detection. Both events targeted busy women who are challenged with making health and wellness a priority in their lives. For more information, call the Hospital’s Office of Marketing and Community Relations at (914) 681-1119.
