WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The White Plains Downtown Criterium will raise money Sunday to fight alcoholism and drug addiction.
The bike race will start at 160 Martine Ave. and the rectangular course includes Mamaroneck Avenue, Quarropas Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The course is closed to all traffic.
The first race will start at 7 a.m. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early for a spot near the start and finish line.
Proceeds will go directly to the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence.
