White Plains Celebrates Flag Day

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The City of White Plains will celebrate Flag Day on Saturday, June 14 with a display and information featuring some of the historic flags that have represented the United States.

The celebration will feature several flags including: The Grand Union Flag, Betsy Ross Flag, Flag of 1794, Flag of 1818 and the American Flag.

The program will include readings, music and a performance from the Singing Company of the Salvation Army.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
