WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Readers meet authors published in the 2013 edition of The Westchester Reivew, a toy and train show and an indoor farmers' market are a few of the events happening in White Plains this weekend.

Friday, Dec. 7

Google 101 : 10:15 a.m. Learn the basics of web searching with the popular search engine Google. Register online or call 914-422-6980. Attendees must be 18 or older. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Lego Donation Day : 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donate your unused Legos to The Trove’s Lego Club, which is especially in need of Lego minifigures. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Healthy and Fit for Life Program: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Youth Bureau’s Healthy and Fit for Life Program kicks off its “12 Days of Wellness” program with a cooking demonstration by Chris Clouet, superintendent of White Plains schools, and celebrity chef Jerome Rome. There also will be yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes and a guest speaker on “Health and Wellness Survival for the Holidays.” The classes will be from 5 to 7 p.m. from Monday through Dec. 21 at the Youth Bureau. Classes will combine cardio and strength training with nutrition education. Eastview Middle School Gym, 350 Main St.

Westchester Readers Meet Westchester Writers : 2 – 4 p.m. Writers from the 2013 issues of The Westchester Review, the county's annual literary journal, will read from their work and entertain with varied voices and visions. Editors will be present to answer questions, with copies available for sale and submissions for the 2014 issue encouraged. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Sunday, Dec. 9

Toy and Train Show : 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Largest Toy and Train Show in the Northeast will feature more than 300 vendors displaying new and antique toys and trains of all gauges, train parts, die cast automobiles, books, test tracks, toy soldiers, match box and more. Admission is $11 for adults; children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.

Indoor Farmers' Market : 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Purchase a variety of foods and products grown and produced by local farmers and vendors. You will find fresh produce, baked goods, cheeses, maple syrup and honey, jams, meats, pickles, soaps and candles. Admission is free, parking costs $5. The market also will take place Jan. 6, Feb. 10 and March 10. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.
