County Sub-Committee On Capital Projects Meeting : 8 a.m. The Westchester County Sub-Committee on Capital Projects will meet in the committee room on the eighth floor of the Michaelian Building, 148 Martine Ave. View the full agenda on the County Legislators website.
TROVE @ The Movies : 3 - 4:30 p.m. This week, the TROVE Summer Film Festival presents "Puss in Boots". It tells the story of the events leading up to the sword fighting cat's meeting with Shrek and his friends. The 90-minute film is rated PG for some adventure action and mild rude humor. "Jersey Voice: From Sinatra to Springsteen... And Everyone In Between" : 8 p.m. Former "Jersey Boys" cast member and New Rochelle native John Michael Coppola will give a one-night-only solo concert at Archbishop Stepinac High School, featuring selections from the 1940s to the present day. It tells the story of Coppola's moving his family from New Jersey to join the "Jersey Boys" cast in Chicago. Archibishop Stepinac High School, 950 Mamaroneck Ave.
Saturday, July 28
Walk With the Mayor : 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. A 2-kilometer walk is set for Saturday morning beginning at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Eastview Middle School track to promote "Healthy Living, Healthy Lifestyles." Registration begins at 8:45 a.m., warm up will be at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:15 a.m. There will be a cool down at 9:45 a.m. Eastview Middle School, 350 Main St.
Secret Treasures Indoor Market : 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. This indoor market features a variety of vendors from antiques to jewelry, clothing, DVDs, hats, handbags and more. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.
Sunday, July 29
Bicycle Sundays : 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters and strollers. The 13.1 mile round-trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Participants can enter and exit through many different parts of the route.
Family Story time - "Dream, Dream, Dream" : 2 - 2:30 p.m. Listen to some stories, sing some songs and share your dreams. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
