Friday, July 6

Trove @ The Movies: 3 to 4:45 p.m.

The White Plains Library children's room, known as the Trove, continues its Summer Film Festival with the return of "Alvin and the Chipmunks." Movies will be shown at 7 p.m. Mondays and repeated at 3 p.m. Fridays throughout summer. The program is free and no tickets are necessary. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Satuday, July 7

Pizza & A Movie Saturdays: 2 to 4 p.m.

Teens can watch a different movie each week at the White Plains Library. Pizza and refreshments will be served during this week's movie, "Just Go With It," starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. The suggested age group is teens. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Sunday, July 8

New York Metro Reptile Show: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thousands of live pet reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates will be on display and for sale, along with books, supplies, cages and more. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12, and children younger than 7 get in free. There are no personal pets allowed, and all children must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.

Bicycle Sundays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters and strollers. The 13.1-mile round trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Participants can enter and exit through many different parts of the route.

Picture Book Bingo: 2 to 2:30 p.m.

Picture Book Bingo is a game for the whole family with famous picture book characters as the theme. This program is suited for ages 3 to 5. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
