What To Do In White Plains This Weekend

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A gem and jewelry show, a stamp, coin and paper money show and an Earth-friendly math program are a few of the events happening in White Plains this weekend.

Friday

International Gem and Jewelry Show: Noon to 6 p.m. Exhibitors from around the world offer jewelry of all kinds, including loose colored gemstones, fine finished jewelry, fashion jewelry, beads and more. There will be discounts of 20 percent to 40 percent off the regular retail prices. The show continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.

Saturday

Stamp, Coin & Paper Money Show: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Stamp, Coin and Paper Money Show celebrates 48 years at Westchester County Center. There will be more than 100 dealer booths with stamps, coins and postcards. Admission is free. The show begins Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and continues through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.

Mixing in Math – “Earth Day Math”:  2 to 2:45 p.m. The White Plains Library will hold Earth-friendly math games and activities for students in grades 2 through 5. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
