What To Do In White Plains This Weekend

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A photo exhibit of Westchester after Superstorm Sandy, a GED class at the library and a wrestling house show are a few of the events happening in White Plains this weekend.

Friday

Superstorm Sandy Photo Exhibit: noon to 5 p.m. Hurricane Sandy: Through the Lens of the storm, features 160 photos by 59 amateur and professional photographers from Westchester. The exhibit is on display now through April 27. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. ArtsWestchester, 31 Mamaroneck Ave. 

Saturday

GED Class: 10 a.m. to noon. Get ready to take the GED test in this drop-in class for adults, ages 16 and up. Space is limited. First come, first served. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Sunday

WWE Live Event: 6 p.m. The WWE’s Road to Wrestlemania stops in White Plains just one week before Wrestlemania 29. See John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus team up to take on The Shield in a six-man tag team match, along with many other WWE superstars. Tickets are $37.50, $47.50, $67.50 and $97.50 at the box office. There are additional fees for tickets bought online or by phone at 800-745-3000. Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave.
