The Westchester Fine Craft Show : 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Selected artists from across the U.S. will showcase their contemporary American art and design at this event, which raises money for the Art Therapy Program at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at the Westchester Medical Center. Meet the artists before the event from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased in advance online . The show is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. GED Classes : 10 a.m. to noon. GED classes will be held at the White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
Westchester Multi-Cultural Childrens Book Festival : 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will bring together authors, discussions, workshops and presentations with an enthusiastic audience inside the White Plains Library and outside on its Plaza. It is a celebration of books, ideas and family literacy. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
Book Group Featuring Jonathan Tropper : noon to 2 p.m. The first annual Book Group & Author event will feature bestselling author Jonathan Tropper. Following a book group discussion from noon to 1 p.m. of the "Top 5 Tips for Book Groups," Tropper will talk about his latest book, "One Last Thing Before I Go," and sign books. Bob and Berenice Pliskin Exhibit : 2 to 4 p.m. Long-time White Plains residents and artists Bob and Berenice Pliskin will show their photos and paintings at the White Plains Library Gallery through Nov. 16. The opening reception is Sunday. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
