WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A pair of children concerts and a series of workshops on hip-hop history are a few of the events happening in White Plains this weekend.
Friday
Westchester Glee Chorus Concert: 7 p.m. The Westchester Glee Chorus, operated out of Trinity Lutheran Church, will have its second concert. The seven-student chorus will perform pop songs. Saturday
Music Remix: 2:30 to 4 p.m. Participants will take workshops on hip-hop history, rap and production foundation, entrepreneurship and performance confidence. They will demonstrate what they have done in these workshops in a final presentation. Registration is required and can be done online.
Sunday
Children’s Concert: 2 to 3 p.m. Music Conservatory of Westchester students will present a meet-the-instruments concert at the White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
