Monday, Jan. 21

Concert by Senakwami Pianists, Soloists and Chorus: noon to 8 p.m. Celebrate Martin Luther King’s birthday and the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Library with a special concert from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be arts and crafts at 2 p.m. and a children's sing-along with John Senakwami at 3:45 p.m. In the music department at Barnes & Noble, 230 Main St.

Latin Rock and Jazz: 4 p.m. Hear the rhythmic Latin rock and jazz sounds of Ricardo Gautreau and his guitar. Barnes & Noble, 230 Main St.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

Job Club: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Career counselors Ginny Ruder and Rose Macom lead a weekly job club. The discussion topics may include writing résumés and cover letters, preparing for an interview, using the Internet and social media together with the city library's resources to conduct a job search, and tips on developing a strong professional network. Secrets of Health and Weight Management: 7 to 8 p.m.  Stacey Lynn Jackson, registered dietitian with ShopRite of White Plains, will provide tips on reaching your healthy eating and weight loss goals. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Board of Education Special Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet to discuss the middle school redesign. Education House, 5 Homeside Lane.

Get Out Of Credit Card Debt: 7 to 8 p.m.  Learn about options available when you are faced with overwhelming credit card debt. Explore the pros and cons of working with a nonprofit credit counseling agency, payment plans offered by credit card companies and effective strategies for handling debt on your own. Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007: 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Learn how to create a simple letter using Microsoft Word, one of the most popular word processing programs. Thursday, Jan. 24
