Westchester Medical Center Trauma Run Starts Sunday

VALHALLA, N.Y. – Runners are taking their mark for the third annual Evan Lieberman Westchester Medical Center Trauma Run on Sunday.

The race takes place within the Valhalla campus of Westchester Medical Center. Runners will scramble through mud, climb obstacles and navigate fire towers on the 5k course. The race benefits the Joel A. Halpern Regional Trama Center & Burn Center.

Pre-registered runners can pick up packets on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. Race day pack pick-up begins at 6:30 a.m. The first wave of runners begins at 8:30 a.m. Additional waves will start every half hour thereafter until noon. An awards ceremony follows the race. The course is closed at noon.

Runners will be required to park off-site and take a shuttle to the main race site. Runners will receive a finisher’s medal, and awards will be distributed in various categories.
