The Westchester Knicks will tip off its inaugural season in November with home games being played at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

All returning 2013-14 NBA D-League teams were able to protect the rights of up to 12 players each. The Knicks were able to select from the remaining pool of unprotected players from 2012-13 and 2013-14 NBA D-League team rosters, with no more than two selections from any NBA D-League team.

The selected players comprise Westchester’s 2014-15 Returning Player List. If the players sign an NBA Development League contract for either of the next two seasons, Westchester will have right of first refusal, giving the Knicks rights to players for two seasons.

Of the 16 players selected by the Knicks in the NBA D-League Expansion Draft, seven have played in the NBA, including one player (Jeff Adrien) currently on an NBA roster.

Following are the complete results of Westchester’s 2014 NBA D-League Expansion Draft: Jeff Adrien of Connecticut, Craig Brackins of Iowa State, Austin Freeman of Georgetown, Kyle Gibson of Louisana Tech, Stefhon Hannah of Missouri, Luke Harangody of Notre Dame, Jordan Henriquez of Kansas State, Richard Howell of N.C. State, Curtis Jerrells of Baylor, Jerome Jordan of Tulsa, Kris Joseph of Syracuse, Brady Morningstar of Kansas, Josh Owens of Stanford, Anthony Richardson of Florida State, Ben Strong of Guilford and DaJuan Summers of Georgetown.
