WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Legal, financial and geriatric care experts will offer about a dozen free workshops on elder law topics at the 14th annual Senior Law Day on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the County Center in White Plains.

The event is from from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and also will include free 15-minute, one-on-one consultations for seniors and their families with elder law attorneys, certified financial planners and geriatric care managers.

“Senior Law Day is a marquee program,” said Westchester County Executive Robert  Astorino in a prepared statement. “I commend the professionals who volunteer their knowledge and time year after year to benefit county residents. Seniors should be informed about their rights and finances at all times to protect themselves and to plan for the years ahead.”
