WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County once again will have a Marylou Seaman Employee Blood Drive as part of its 9/11 observance.
The drive, open to the public, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 11, at the County Center, 198 Central Park Ave., White Plains.
Anyone between the ages of 16-76 and weighing at least 110 pounds is a potential donor. Individuals older than 76 who can produce a doctor's note shortly before the drive are acceptable donors, too.
The drive is named after Seaman, who coordinated blood drives in the county for 30 years.
Donors are asked to register in advance. Contact Janet Lokay by email at JEL1@westchestergov.com or call 914-995-2127 to register.
