Westchester County once again will have a “9/11: Serve + Remember” blood drive.
The blood drive is in partnership with the New York Blood Center and Volunteer New York! as part of the county’s Sept. 11 observance.
It will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Park Ave., White Plains.
Anyone between the ages of 16- 76 and weighing at least 110 pounds is a potential donor.
Individuals older than 76 must produce a doctor's note form shortly before the drive to be approved.
Donors can register in advance by contacting Janet Lokay at JEL1@westchestergov.com or by calling (914) 995-2127.
Walk-ins will be welcome until 3:45 p.m.
Dozens of other “9/11: Serve + Remember” projects will be taking place from Sept. 11-13.
