Tap dancing, tai chi, lap swimming and aerobics are just some of the activities that are planned across multiple county municipalities celebrating the day, which encourages all seniors to "get out and enjoy" themselves.

The programs, which are to be as educational as they are fun, are open to county residents only who are 60 years old or older. Certain programs in certain municipalities require pre-registration.

Westchester's programs are organized by the county’s Department of Senior Programs and Services (DSPS) and its Health and Wellness Collaborative, which is composed of 20 community organizations.

A list of scheduled sessions can be found below. Interested seniors should call each location directly to learn necessary addresses, event times and how to register. The locations and their telephone numbers can also be found here.
