WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Bring your comfy clothes and get your Chakras adjusted for free at an outdoor yoga session in downtown White Plains on Friday, from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

The event, which is being sponsored by the city and White Plains Hospital, will take place on Court Street, between Main Street and Martine Avenue. Preregistration has been filled. But there is still plenty of room, so bring your own mats.

Visitors are asked to stop by the information table and leave an email address for notification of future yoga events/classes. Parking is nearby at the Galleria Mall, or behind City Hall.

The event originally was planned for July 9, but was postponed to Friday due to the chance of rain on Thursday.

The first 200 registrants received yoga mats donated by White Plains Hospital.

Leading the session will be Patty Holmes, owner of the Yoga Garden, 82 Prospect St., White Plains. For more details, call (914) 422-1336 or visit www.yogagardenwp.com.
