Really Terrible Orchestra, Dixieland Band Plays White Plains YMCA Benefit

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester and the Dixieland Express Jazz Band will perform their Second Annual Benefit Concert at the YMCA in White Plains.

There is no admission charge although a suggested $5 contribution for the benefit of the YMCA’s community programs is suggested.

The Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester will perform at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, followed by its sister ensemble, The Dixieland Express Jazz Band. 

There is no admission charge although a suggested $5 contribution for the benefit of the YMCA’s community programs is suggested. 

There will be a food/dessert and beverage reception after the concert. There is no admission charge although a suggested $5.00 contribution for the benefit of the YMCA’s community programs is suggested. Children are welcome.

The Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester was founded over six years ago and is a 501(3)C non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide an opportunity for adults to play in an amateur classical orchestra under the baton of a professional conductor and to provide periodic free concerts to the community. 

The Orchestra which is a member of ArtsWestchester has performed throughout Westchester in many Public Libraries as well as other venues such as Adult Living facilities, Nursing Homes, etc. Anyone interested in joining this relaxed, non-audition Orchestra should call 914-238-9247.
